The VOPV Community Collection Center (CCC) offers the following services:
Residents can drop off household items too large to put in their green trash can at the CCC, such as: electronics, metal, household hazardous waste, and "hobbyist" levels of construction debris. The items are limited to the amount fitting into a level standard pickup truck bed.
CCC Hours of Operation
1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Requirements for Using
Residents must present proof of Point Venture property ownership. (Driver's License AND Utility Bill (PEC or WCID acceptable).
There is a limit of one (1) level standard pickup truck bed per weekend the CCC is open. Trailers will be allowed for brush/limbs ONLY.
Leaves in recyclable PAPER bags ONLY.
Contractors are NOT authorized to use the CCC. This includes contractors providing mowing, trimming, or home remodeling services for residents.
Major remodel and new construction materials are NOT accepted. Obtain your own trash box/dumpsters.

Household Non-hazardous Waste:
Batteries (car and household)

Paint and thinners
Small propane tanks
Household cleaning agents
Anti-freeze
Florescent bulbs
Improper disposal of household chemicals can pose a threat to health and contaminate land, air, and water supplies.
Whenever possible, avoid purchasing such items. If you must purchase them, buy them in quantities for immediate use.
Please explore alternative products that are environmentally friendly and safer.
Please transport products in their original containers. DO NOT MIX products.
Place smaller items upright in sturdy containers.
If an item leaks, pack it in a larger container and absorb the spill with cat litter.
Transport chemicals in a non-passenger area of the vehicle.
Residents should consider reducing unnecessary waste by donating functional items in good working order to a local charity, many nearby and some that will pick up are listed below. Help us reduce waste, ensure sustained availability of CCC yard, and keep costs down and potentially help someone out in need by donating the following items:
Indoor/outdoor furniture, chairs, tables, beds, dressers, side tables, etc.
Working computers, TVS, phones and tablets and game consoles, keyboards, etc.
Clean, bagged clothing, blankets and towels, kids toys and stuffed animals, etc.
