The VOPV Community Collection Area (CCA) offers the following services:
Residents can drop off household items too large to put in their green trash can at the CCA, such as: electronics, metal, tires, household hazardous waste, and "hobbyist" levels of construction debris. The items are limited to the amount fitting into a level standard pickup truck bed.
CCA Hours of Operation
1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Requirements for Using
Residents must present proof of residency (Driver License, water bill, or POA Card).
There is a limit of 3 level standard pickup truck bed deliveries per day the CCA is open.
Contractors are not authorized to use the CCA. This includes contractors providing mowing, trimming, or home remodeling services for residents.
Major remodel and new construction materials are NOT accepted. Obtain your own trash box/dumpsters.

Boxes
Lumber no longer than 36" (one yard)
Electronics (if it plugs in, we probably accept it):

Air conditioners
Hot water heaters
Washers
Dryers
Stoves
Refrigerators
Microwave ovens
Freezers
Tires and wheels - fees may apply in the future Household Non-hazardous Waste:
Batteries (car and household)
Automotive fluids
Oil filters
Paint and thinners
Small propane tanks
Household cleaning agents
Anti-freeze
Florescent bulbs
Improper disposal of household chemicals can pose a threat to health and contaminate land, air, and water supplies.
Whenever possible, avoid purchasing such items. If you must purchase them, buy them in quantities for immediate use.
Please explore alternative products that are environmentally friendly and safer.
Please transport products in their original containers. DO NOT MIX products.
Please smaller items upright in sturdy containers.
If an item leaks, pack it in a larger container and absorb the spill with cat litter.
Transport chemicals in a non-passenger area of the vehicle.
